As an avid Crossfitter, I have tried several macro counting, cut process type nutrition plans. While they worked for the time being they were not sustainable so I ended up feeling deprived then over doing the eating. Ultimately I knew that merging my nutrition with my workouts needed to be done. Erika helped me manage all of my desires  with a functional diet that incorporated my busy full time corporate life, Mom, Crossfit passion into something I could manage. I continue to get leaner and leaner with her guidance. I appreciate her judgement free and honest approach. I started this program wanting more than a diet—a lifestyle change. I told Erika that I needed accountability above all because all of the diets I would do by myself would go really well, until I cheated and became defeated. Don’t get me wrong, I still cheat, but now I have someone there to encourage me to keep going. Erika has been such a positive coach and I am constantly surprised when I feel bad about what I have eaten, that she never makes me feel bad. She lifts me up and tells me I am doing great. I have seen improvements that I never thought I’d see. Erika is Sooo great! She has helped me reach some of my goals in just under 3 months and helps remind me of why I'm doing this. Where to even start??? Well, let me start by saying this. I - LOVE – FOOD!!!  I love to cook, I love to eat, healthy, and unhealthy, I don’t discriminate. In the past, food has been a major source of stress and obsession for me, what I could or could not eat, wanting to eat, being frustrated with eating out, etc. Strict diets do not work for me, long term they simply are not sustainable, not to mention, way too frustrating.


What I love about Erika’s program is that it takes a healthy balance of fat, protein, AND CARBS. She figures it out for me. I can still cook the foods I love, use sauces, seasonings, and lots of flavor in my foods. Nothing is off limits, and we all know that in reality, life happens. This is not a “diet” per say, so much as it is eating the right balance of food for what my particular body needs. We are all unique, so her program is tailored to each individual as there is no “one size fits all”.  Overall, I’m actually eating A LOT more, which is insane, because I’m losing weight, and inches, and fast. Way faster than I ever could on my own. Now, I get to EAT CARBS! And I don’t feel guilty. My energy level for my workouts has skyrocketed. Her weekly check-ins help to keep me from going off the deep end, and the pictures and measurements show progress even when the scale doesn’t, which helps to keep you motivated. Erika follows your progress week in and week out and will make adjustments as needed, because remember, it’s tailored to each individual and what your particular body needs. As you move with the program, she will help you make the adjustments needed to keep making progress.
 
I love having her as a nutrition coach and will continue to do so even when I hit my goal, because it just seriously helps to have someone to answer questions, hold you accountable, and keep you motivated!
